Cross Asset Sales - Zurich

Are you looking to start your career with a global investment bank, where you will cover the tier one platinum and priority institutional clients? The role sits as part of a cross asset sales team responsible for selling structured products across Equities, Rates and Credit.

By joining this sales desk, you will be a key member focused on covering the institutional client base which includes Wealth Managers, Brokerages and Banking clients. You will spend your time proactively speaking to clients providing product ideas, improving existing services and working to onboard new clients. We therefore need somebody with experience in a client facing role with the potential to generate revenues by providing an excellent level of service to their client franchise.

What you will do will be varied day to day, but the key drivers for the role are:

  • Working with multiple partners across the bank including the various product structuring and trading teams, and the issuance team to bring appropriate product to our clients.

  • Daily Pricing of Structured Products in OTC and Note format.

  • Work closely with:

  • The 3rd party team on servicing our Platinum and Priority Clients to ensure we are meeting targets.

  • Control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure.

  • The Client Management team to develop proper wallet data for our client base.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

  • Continued development of the platform to improve the client experience, and fulfilling the clients’ necessities while providing an exceptional client experience is the expected behaviour from all our employees and it will be measured by specific metrics.

What we will need from you:

  • As this is a Zurich based role covering Italian speaking clients only fluent Italian and English speakers will be considered for this role. Having a 3rd language (especially German) would be offer you a distinct advantage.

  • You will have relevant experience in Cross Asset Structured Products and possess a good understanding of the retail competitive landscape with an ability to identify and drive new product and client opportunities.

  • You should have excellent verbal and interpersonal skills, and advanced quantitative skills with experience with derivative pricing and models experience (knowledge of Python and VBA a distinct advantage), so would suit an individual with a mathematical background.

  • You should have outstanding attention to detail and excellent time management & prioritization skills, which will be required when pro-actively managing your clients successfully.
