Regulatory Governance Vice President (Hybrid)

The VP for Governance of Citibank North America ('CBNA') -aligned regulations is an experienced governance professional who has the skills to support governance forums for regulations.  The regulations in question include 12 CFR 5, 12 CFR 7, 12 CFR 225 (re permissibility), OCC Heightened Standards and the Safety and Soundness Standards. The role requires being a very strong ability to draft first-rate materials for senior regulatory governance forums and to employ a very high level of exactitude in managing the actions and documenting decisions at these forums.  Whilst some knowledge of the regulations in question is an advantage it is not essential.     The ideal candidate would be a someone with experience in preparing high quality visualizations for a very senior audience – to represent complex concepts in an easy to understand manner.  Considerable regulatory consulting experience would thus be a distinct advantage.   The individual will work in the first line of defense within CBNA's Head Office. Excellent organizational and analytical skills also required as well as the ability to work effectively across the whole team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of high-value governance materials for senior forums – this is not a ‘scribe’ responsibility but rather someone who can take a concept and develop thoughtful material fit for senior management [note – this skill will be tested during the interview]
• Conduct analysis needed to support any visualizations needed for governance forums, working across the team as necessary
• Manage timelines for the preparation of materials and make amends/syndicate agreement as needed
• Track and manage all actions agreed to an audit ready standard  -again minutes taken must show an appreciation of the topic under discussion vs scribing notes

Qualifications:

• 10+ years experience in regulatory compliance, consulting experience preferred
