U.S. Personal Banking (USPB) is a major business at Citi.  The In-Business Credit & Franchise Risk Organization within USPB is responsible for managing the credit and franchise risk of the USPB business. The Head of In-Business Credit & Franchise Risk reports to the CEO of USPB.

One of the groups within In-Business Credit & Franchise Risk Organization is Enterprise Risk and Balance Sheet Management. This group is responsible for executing Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) programs including, but not limited to, Risk Identification, Risk Appetite & Limits, Risk Monitoring and Risk Framework & Policy.  

USPB ERM Risk Monitoring and Framework Execution team is responsible for development and implementation of robust risk monitoring, and execution of risk framework for the business in line with Enterprise Risk Management programs. This individual reports to Head of USPB ERM Risk Monitoring and Framework Execution and is responsible for managing adherence to and implementation of ERM Frameworks within USPB in partnership with the stakeholders in the business and second line of defense risk management. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage USPB’s Line of Defense (LOD) Designation Assessment processes in line of Enterprise Risk Management Framework and relevant policies/procedures, which include:

    • Driving Annual and Intermediate LOD Designation Assessment in partnership with USPB Organizational Units, Enterprise Framework & Policy Group and Independent Risk Management

    • Facilitate development and monitoring of Remediation Plan for any deviations from LOD model.

  • Assess and monitor USPB’s compliance to OCC Heightened Standards for Front-Line-Unit roles and responsibilities in line of Enterprise guidance and requirements

  • Coordinate and provide business input to ERM group on enterprise policies and procedures, including Enterprise Risk Management Framework, Risk Taxonomy, etc.

  • Ensure business procedures relating to ERM Programs are properly documented and executed as required by Enterprise Risk Policies, Standards and Procedures, as applicable

  • Perform ongoing monitoring of USPB’s adherence to ERM programs and framework


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of financial industry experience including risk management  

  • Demonstrated experience in leading change, with track record of improving business performance and enhance risk management

  • Relevant experience in the following areas preferred:

    • Enterprise risk management (e.g., Risk ID, Risk Appetite, Risk Framework, Policy)

    • Credit risk management (e.g. Retail Credit, Wholesale Credit)

    • Non-Financial risk management (e.g. Operational, Compliance)

    • Experience in project management engaging broad range of stakeholders

    • Experience in consumer bank and/or wealth management business

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or other relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
