Trade Product Manager Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) - Turkiye, Israel and Kazakstanis a position responsible for managing a broad range of Trade Products, rolling out new products, risk and governance as well as working closely with in-country as well as regional and global teams on product strategy including setting strategy and providing direction, leadership and budgetary management. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the development of product plans, strategies, and tactics while coordinating product lines through product life-cycles in coordination with the broader Product Management team. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the promotion of products to develop new markets, increase share of market and obtain competitive position.



Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple stakeholders to accomplish established goals
  • Manage strategic product roadmap, development, launch, and marketing to gain maximum benefit from each product
  • Supervise day-to-day product management for all trade products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results
  • Drive client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a partner to Citi clients
  • Develop plans and execute functional strategies for a country as well as all 3 countries and Cluster requiring coordination and integration across units as well as provide input into strategic decisions affecting job family or function within a region or business
  • Manage client and competitor market research, develop product innovation roadmap, and address fundamental trials of product commoditization to create an advanced set of solutions
  • Direct and oversee all aspects of program life cycle management including market demands, technology trends, and the competitive field
  • Drive towards achievement of acquisition targets, product financial performance, revenue performance, and expense management goals as well as oversee identification and execution of opportunities and gaps business plans
  • Develop and communicate a business plan to approach the marketplace, and coordinate and implement team procedures, client problem resolutions and client management
  • Lead innovation by working with external partners/alliances to develop products, manage ongoing relationships, exercise control over resources, policy formation, and planning, and prepare agreements
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards. Work closely with Technology, Operations and Coverage teams to drive timely, cost effective and high-quality Delivery of strategically aligned product solutions
  • Partner with Finance to evaluate investments in product development, and monitor and control billing/revenue, expenditure, and benefits realization
  • Work closely with global and regional product teams to develop and refine the strategy of product solutions, go to market approach, and Delivery model.
  • Work with product control functions to ensure that all relevant documentation (eg product Approval Program) and processes are strictly adhered to and part of the management fabric of the product business
  • Develop an action plan to address VOC (Voice of the Client) feedback. Partner with cross-functional and coverage teams to execute

Qualifications:

  • 10-12 years of relevant experience; LC, Trade Finance, Guarantees, Supplier Finance with good knowledge of banking practices in the trade product management space
  • Exposure to and understanding of business analysis, data and system analysis
  • Experience in working across multi-function and global businesses, as well as in performing in a large, complex and matrixed organization
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the industry, banking, and asset products
  • Working knowledge of different systems and practices relevant to the trade function
  • Experience in rollout of products including the Product Launch Framework from inception to go live along with working with multiple stakeholders in-country and regionally
  • Knowledge of industry and competitor products/services
  • Knowledge of strategic direction of the business and functions across regions combined with solid conceptual/practical grounding in function and/or area of expertise
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated internal and external negotiation skills
  • Broad and diverse function experience in marketing, credit, risks/controls, product development and analytics
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to self-direct work efforts, take initiative, and produce consistent high-quality work
  • Willingness to be a direct contributor and ability to multi-task
  • Good level English (writing, reading, speaking) is critical

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

This role is responsible for Financials (ad-hoc & monthly reports, annual plan submissions), PAP - LCA annual reviews for Trade Products for Turkiye and TIK, Product capability grid annual reviews for all Trade Products for Turkiye and TIK, Asset Distribution strategy and execution with Legal Agreement & Process, Product Launches like Dynamic Discounting, Sustainable SCF & Sales Financing, GDRs for key and large deals, Structuring of client deals by working along with MEA trade partners. This Turkiye and TIK Product Manager also works closely on Supply Chain Financing platform and process, and product development for annual BoW submission as well as responsible for all Risk & Control agenda items, on existing CAPs, KPMG and Internal audits as well as product procedure management.
