Financial Reporting Intermediate Analyst
Citi’s EMEA Regulatory Reporting Centre in Budapest is a key part of Finance function of Citigroup. It is Citi’s pioneering centre on a global scale where local regulatory reporting professionals work together in a central location, to ensure consistent quality of local regulatory reporting.
In this position you will use and expand your experience and professional skills for the following responsibilities:
Production & delivery of daily, monthly & quarterly regulatory returns and monitoring reports
Maintenance and further enhancement of controls & reports including reconciliations, adjustments & variance analysis
Ongoing review and development of current processes to increase efficiency
Provide support to country Finance teams on an ad-hoc basis (e.g. audits, regulatory inquiries)
Liaise with multiple departments of the covered countries (including Financial Control, Treasury, Risk and Technology departments) to resolve issues
The ideal candidate for this position preferably possesses the following qualifications and skills:
Fluent English knowledge
3+ years' work experience – in Reporting, Accounting or Finance
University/college degree
Advanced MS Excel user
Excellent analytical skill
Understanding of Accounting & Finance principles, Financial Markets and Regulatory Reporting requirements is an advantage
Knowledge of VBA, Python, Knime is an advantage
